How do the tools work?
Most tools execute entirely in your browser using JavaScript, with no data sent anywhere. A few - DNS, IP, and WHOIS lookup (which need to query external internet infrastructure), and XFree Studio's optional Cloud Mode - call a server to do their job; those pages say so directly.
Is my data safe?
For browser-based tools, yes - your input never leaves your device, and closing the tab clears it from memory. The DNS/IP/WHOIS lookup tools and Studio's optional Cloud Mode send your input to XFree's server or a third-party provider to perform the lookup or AI request; nothing you submit there is stored.
Do I need to install anything?
